Abstract

In emergent Malaya today, the accent is quite naturally upon the creation of an educational system which can nationally cater for a total training encompassing all fields of education. Until recently a major proportion of students requiring post-high school training had to be sent abroad, and of course this will continue although the extent of it is on the decrease. In the near future facilities will extend within Malaya for training in all technical, professional and further educational fields. The effect upon the building programme is obvious, and in the following pages may be seen some examples of the programme.
